UC Davis Health has many ways that you can access your medical records. You can log into your account to access your medical records, or you can share your records with family members.
Accessing your medical record. Foreign born physicians can apply for green cards by filing EB-2 applications with USCIS.

Whether you’re accessing your medical record with MyChart UCD or another health system, you’ll need to verify your identity first. Once you’ve confirmed your identity, the health system will send you a one-use login code. This code is valid for 24 hours.

You can then use your MyChart account to view your health records. You can also view lab results, prescriptions, immunizations, and more. You can also send secure messages to your care team.

In order to access your medical record with MyChart UCD, you’ll need to sign up. You’ll then receive a six-digit login code that you can use to access your account. You can then access your account through a web browser or by using the free MyChart app. You can also access your MyChart account from your mobile device.

Your MyChart account is password protected. This is in order to protect your privacy. Your medical record is protected by the same privacy laws that protect your email address. You’ll also be required to go through two-step verification. This is a process in which you’ll be asked to enter a code that you’ve received by text or email.
Sharing your medical record with family

Using MyChart UCD to share your medical record with your family is a great way to stay connected to your doctor and your medical team. The benefits include a comprehensive record of your medical history, as well as the ability to print or save a scan. This free service is offered to all UC Davis Health patients.

The best way to access your MyChart UCD is to request it during your next clinic visit. This will allow your doctor to review your medical history in a timely manner. It’s important to note that not all providers are listed in MyChart. If your health provider isn’t on the list, you may have to call or visit the appropriate clinic.

If you need to share your medical record with family, it’s easy to do. The process requires the following: a) a smartphone or tablet (you can also save your medical record on a USB drive), b) an up-to-date web browser, c) a mobile phone and d) a MyChart UCD activation code. The code can be found on your billing statement, in an email or on a text message.
UC Davis Health shares notes on

UC Davis Health is believed to be the first academic health care provider to ask patients if they identify as LGBT. A questionnaire will be sent to patients and posted on a website called MyChart.

The questionnaire will ask patients to share their sexual orientation and gender identity. UC Davis Health says it will be adding more questions in the future to its surveys. The questionnaire will be sent to 76,000 patients.

The UC Davis Health System is working with Sutter Health to share clinical information. They recently partnered to share electronic health records. It will be up to the patients to decide whether or not they want to participate in this new information gathering process.

The new program is also designed to make clinical information easier to view. The notes of almost all UC Davis Health providers will be shared with patients, and most test results will be shared when they’re finalized.

The new program will also include secure online communications between the patient and care team. This will be done through the MyUCDavisHealth app and website. The website allows the patient to see the notes of the provider and exchange secure messages with the care team. The app can be used on an iPad or Android tablet.
